Send cakes by car, every time

Bikes and scooters are fast, but a tiered cake or a tray of cupcakes needs to stay flat. With GoSwift you choose Car only for any delivery, and the courier is told to keep the package flat and upright. A car delivery is $12 on top of the regular price.

Smaller items like cookie boxes and brownies can go with the fastest courier, which is cheaper.

Schedule pickups for when the cake is ready

Most bakery orders are booked days ahead. Schedule each delivery for the time the customer wants it, up to 30 days ahead. GoSwift books the courier about 20 minutes before pickup, so the driver arrives when the cake is boxed and ready, not 40 minutes early or late.

We deliver 24 hours a day, so early-morning birthday deliveries and late events are covered too.

Book the whole week in one go

If you send 30 or 40 orders a week, typing them one by one wastes an afternoon. Packaging tips that save cakes

• Use a sturdy box one size up and a non-slip mat or cake board fixed to the base.
• Chill buttercream and mousse cakes well before pickup; they travel better cold.
• Put “This side up” and “Keep flat” on the box and in the courier notes.
• Add the recipient’s phone so they get live tracking and can be ready at the door.
